Abstract

This article is entitled "Translating the Booklet of Tour Package Into Chinese as an
Effort to Improve Services at CV. Sahabat Nusantara Sejahtera". The internship
activity will be held from October 1, 2021 until March 1, 2021 at CV. Sahabat
Nusantara Sejahtera Purwokerto. The purpose of this research is to translate CV.

Sahabat Nusantara Sejahtera tour package into Chinese. The data collection
method used by the author is the method of interviews, observations, literature
studies, and internet browsing. During translating the travel package booklet, the
author uses a communicative method (Hartono 2017; Newmark by Hartono, 2017;
dan Wuryantoro, 2018). The method is used so that the translated text is easily
accepted and understood by Chinese tourists. In addition, the author also uses
several translation techniques (Molina and Albir by Kesuma, 2016), namely
common equivalent techniques, amplification techniques, and reduction
techniques. The results of this research are booklets offering tour packages in
Chinese to facilitate Chinese tourist who will use the services of a travel agency
CV. Sahabat Nusantara Sejahtera.
