STUDI PELAKSANAAN MANAJEMEN PROYEK DI KONTRAKTOR SKALA KECIL
Abstract
This research aims to describe the implementation of project management by small-scale contractors who are able to survive and compete in the construction business. This is a descriptive qualitative study, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. The project management aspects reviewed include scope management, cost management, time management, quality management, resource management, contract management, risk management, and communication management. The research results indicate that small-scale contractors have standard operating procedures (SOP) for planning and controlling project scope, cost, quality, and time. They also have standards for managing human and non-human resources and are required to implement contracts in every collaboration. Additionally, small contractors have SOPs for material and equipment procurement and must be proactive in risk management. Communication between team members and with clients is conducted through technological communication media as well as face-to-face meetings or project site visits.
