Abstract

This research was designed to determine the needs analysis regarding the development of interactive E-Module based teaching materials for urban drainage courses in the Building Engineering Education Study Program, Jakarta State University. A needs analysis is carried out with the aim of finding out and identifying problems that may be the cause of errors in the learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development and the model used is 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). There is data that has been collected from a questionnaire that has been distributed to students who have taken the Urban Drainage course. Based on the results of the needs analysis that was carried out, 86.7% of students stated that the teaching materials used were Powerpoint, 60% of students stated that they were still having problems understanding the material by only using Powerpoint. As many as 60% of students strongly agreed and 40% of students agreed to develop teaching materials for urban drainage courses based on Interactive E-Modules.
